Study Plan
Overview
NOTE: This plan was developed for the LEED-NC V2.2 Exam. Our materials for LEED 2009 are being developed.
The ideal candidate for LEED-AP would learn by being a member of a team on a LEED certification project. However, most AP candidates have little experience with LEED and wish to become accredited prior to working on a LEED project. Green-Study.com is focused on preparing candidates like you for the AP exam.

Study Strategies
The exam test your skills of memorization. In order to remember all the material, use study guides, flash cards, practice exams.
When reviewing the credit system using the official reference guide or a study guide based on it,
first, be sure to conceptually understand the intent for each prerequisite and credit so you can know how to apply them to sample projects. Secondly, be sure to understand the requirements for each prerequisite and credit Know the various required percentages, thresholds, baselines and options when applicable.
One common mistake by exam takers is not studying the referenced standards. Use study guides (such as Green-Study.com’s Guide to Referenced Standards and Definitions or the Colorado Chapter Study Guide) to help you memorize which standards apply to each credit. You do not need to memorize the text of the individual standards however, just the application.
